CATALYST for Organic Chemistry was created by Dr. John Penn at West Virginia University, and developed over the past 10 years. During this time, the CATALYST concept mastery content has been regularly amended to address student weaknesses and misconceptions.
Each CATALYST concept mastery assignment consists of approximately 8-12 questions, and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Students are offered detailed and meaningful incorrect answer feedback within CATALYST that is based on student data collected at over 10 colleges and universities. As with CATALYST for Introductory and General Chemistry, students can reset their assignments as many times as needed until they achieve the instructor-set mastery success threshold.
Content in CATALYST is textbook independent and therefore it can be offered with any Wiley Organic Chemistry textbook at no additional cost, or with any non-Wiley text for $35. Please see your local Wiley representative for a demonstration or additional information.
