Teaches the principles of programming to beginning computer science students. Covers traditional subject matter of a beginning programming course, as well as an introduction to object-oriented programming. Objects are used from the early beginning, however students learn about programming classes only when they have been exposed tot he necessary mechanism. The this book is neither "object early" nor "object late", objects are used throughout the book as appropriate for the developmental level of the student.
This text is suitable for a freshman level, one semester, course in Introduction to Programming, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems.
