Description
This text is based on the authors' most recent textbook, Fundamentals of Thermodynamics, Fifth Edition. This new text, however, has been written for a broader audience, and is specifically intended as a text for two different courses: a one-semester introductory course in engineering thermodynamics for both majors and non-majors; and also, the first course in an introductory sequence in engineering thermal-fluid sciences. The authors guide readers step-by-step, from readily measured thermodynamic properties to more complex topics, such as internal energy, entropy, and the first and second laws.
