This text takes a unique skills-based approach that is appropriate for management and organizational behavior courses offered at the upper-level undergraduate and MBA levels. This text is built around The Competing Values Framework. This model uses an integration of four "conflicting" management perspectives to display how different theories can be combined to form a more comprehensive foundation in management. Becoming a Master Manager, presents a five-step learning model: assessment, learning, analysis, practice, and application. This five-step learning model helps the reader develop leadership competencies needed in today's business world.
