Interactions is a series of CD-ROMs focusing on the examination of physiological processes within each system of the body, using animations and interactivity to enhance student understanding. There is a great deal more to Interactions than your usual A&P CD-ROM. At the heart of Interactions is a focus on core principles - homeostasis; communication; energy flow; fluid flow; and boundaries -- that underscore the key relationships between structure and function as well as interrelationships between systems. It is the reinforcement of these fundamental organizing principles, to which a variety of processes and concepts for each system is attached, that sets this series of CDs apart from others.
Support and Movement provides students with a basic knowledge of the structure and function of the skeletal and muscular systems. It helps students visualize and understand physiological processes at the molecular, cellular and organismal levels of organization.
