Description
This classic text devoted to accurately assessing adolescent and adult intelligence covers the history and use of IQ tests followed by an in-depth study of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scales (from the Wechsler Bellevue I through the WAIS-III), focusing in particular on the current version of the test: the WAIS-III. It also includes sections on Individual Differences, Integration and Application of WAIS-III Research, and Interpretation of the WAIS-III Profile. The Third Edition also includes a new method for interpreting WAIS-III scores based on CHC theory. The book concludes with a look at other measures of adolescent and adult intelligence, including the WJ III, KAIT, and a review of brief tests of intelligence and related abilities. The authors focus on using a cross-battery approach to assessment, and include numerous case studies throughout.
