This book will extend the popular "Teaching for Understanding" model by focusing on using new technologies to enhance the learning experience. Teachers will learn how they can use resources like the online curricular resources, web information, and professional networks to research topics to teach, set short- and long-term learning goals, create assignments, and assess student understanding. This book will be used in online professional development courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
