Appropriate for grade levels K-12, The Mathematics Teacher's Book of Lists (2nd ed.) consists of multiple parts.

Part I contains nine sections (the original contained eight) of reproducible lists and offers specific information on over 300 topics.

Part II contains a variety of reproducible teaching aides that can be used as necessary in support of a teacher's instructional program. 

All of the lists and reproducibles of the book can be adapted to various methods of instruction.

The new edition of the book retains all of the strengths of the first edition with substantial updates to the original lists.

A new section, "Lists for Student Reference" is new as are approximately twelve new lists, including "Fractals," "topics in Discrete Math," "Math Web Sites for Students," and "Math Websites for Teachers." These sections expand the scope and relevance of the book.

Despite the addition of new lists, the overall length of the book remains the same.Obsolete lists have been dropped and many original lists have been condensed.

The new edition, like the original, is designed for easy implementation.  Each list is written in clear, simple-to-read language, stands alone, and may be used with students of various grades and abilities, enabling the teacher to utilize materials in a manner that best satisfies the needs of his or her students.  Many of the lists serve as excellent sources of information, which teachers may use to generate supplementary materials for their students.  Moreover, the lists are cross-referenced so that teachers can refer to similar lists should they wish to expand topics or provide more information through related topics.
