Wiley-Blackwell to Publish the International Journal of Psychoanalysis


Oxford, U.K., February 22, 2008—  Wiley-Blackwell, the scientific, technical, medical, and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc (NYSE: JWa), (NYSE: JWb), today announced it has been selected by the Institute of Psychoanalysis to publish their flagship journal, The International Journal of Psychoanalysis (IJPA). The journal publishes six issues per year.

The International Journal of Psychoanalysis, now in its 88th volume, is the only psychoanalytic journal to regularly publish extensive papers by authors from around the world. The journal publishes articles on the history of psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic theory and methodology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, education and professional issues, clinical technique, psychoanalytic research, and interdisciplinary studies.

The Institute of Psychoanalysis was founded in 1924. It is responsible for the administrative and financial aspects of the work of the British Psychoanalytic Society.
